A first shift production supervisor opening exists at our Long Beach facility. Our operation seeks leaders who are team players, problem solvers’ and driven toward absolute customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proven productivity results, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead work groups in a shift environment. Must exhibit a sense of urgency, flexibility and high work standards to inspire others and lead change. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus, at minimum basic communication in Spanish is required. This leadership position is responsible for planning and managing the daily production for a fast paced facility. The successful candidate will ensure conformance with customer specifications and quality standard as well as being in accordance with AQMD, Fire Department, City Codes and other regulations. The production supervisor will provide effective leadership in this department and participates with peers in team projects. | | | | Primary Job Responsibilites: | | * Ensure effective communication within department and with other management team members. | | * Document and follow-up on all department processes in order to implement improvements. | | * Plan, organize and manage production to ensure customer, employee, and financial targets are met. | | * Company initiatives and drive improvement through elimination of waste and lean processes. | | * Oversee all production and processes for our first shift. | | * A strong understanding of budgets. | | * Implement and maintain just in time delivery. | | * Facilitate and support company safety and quality program as set forth by RTL Woodworks. | | * Utilize Best Practices to maintain RTL’s cost and productivity targets. | | * Previous experience as a production supervisor is a must. | | * Must speak English and Spanish. |
